Accommodations and Prices Workshop participants have their choice of various living arrangements, ranging from luxurious private apartments to economical but very comfortable shared rooms. Prices vary, depending on private/shared accommodations, and walking distance from the puppet workshop.

Casa Dei Fiori is host Christa Gabler's newly restored complex of traditional stone houses. Blending the intimacy of the old houses with modern comforts, Christa and her husband Fritz have painstakingly created serene, cozy, and historically authentic living spaces. Casa dei Fiori offers private apartments with amenities including modern bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, and working fireplaces. Each room is only a few paces from the workshop and dining area.

Elisabetta Salpetre's "Morinesio Bed and Breakfast" , right next door to Casa dei Fiori, and like its neighbor is housed in a tradition Morinesio house of old-world hewn timber and stone. Elisabetta, who leads our annual Picnic to the cheese factory in Elva, is an expert on Occitan culture and local herbs as well. Locanda Codirosso offers the most economical optional, for those participants willing to make the short-but-steep hike (about 10 minutes) from up the hill to the workshop. A popular lodge for trekkers walking the Medeival trails that traverse the villages of the Val Maira. Proprietor Anna Maria and her husband Nikki are world-class chefs, are active in the growing "Slow Food" movement. Codirosso offers comfortable shared rooms (2 to 3 persons), with option for private room for an added cost.
